Privacy Policy
Draft — last updated 12 Jan 2026
Draft — pending legal review. This page is a starting draft prepared ahead of MediMind's launch and has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel. Do not treat it as final.
Information We Collect
MediMind collects only what's necessary to provide the service:
- Account details, such as name and email address
- Prescription images you submit for processing
- The structured data extracted from those images
- Basic device and usage data to keep the service reliable and secure
Prescription Image Retention
By default, prescription images are processed and then discarded. We don't retain scans or the data extracted from them beyond the request unless you explicitly enable storage for your account or organization.
How We Use Information
We use account and usage data to operate, secure, and improve MediMind. Prescription image content is used only to generate the structured output you requested — never for advertising, and never sold to third parties.
Sharing of Information
We share data only with trusted service providers who help us host and operate MediMind (for example, cloud infrastructure providers), when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users. We do not sell personal data or prescription content.
Security Measures
Data is encrypted in transit, and access to prescription content is access-controlled by default, consistent with health-data handling best practices.
Your Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting MediMind.
Children's Privacy
MediMind is intended for use by healthcare professionals and organizations, not by children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as MediMind evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
