Terms of Service
Draft — last updated 12 Jan 2026
Draft — pending legal review. This page is a starting draft prepared ahead of MediMind's launch and has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel. Do not treat it as final.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MediMind, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Description of Service
MediMind uses AI to read handwritten and printed prescriptions and return structured data (medicine, strength, dosage, timing, and prescriber). MediMind assists with digitizing prescription information — it does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for the judgment of a licensed clinician or pharmacist.
Accounts and Eligibility
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. MediMind is intended for use by healthcare professionals and organizations, not for direct use by patients seeking medical advice.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service — including submitting content you don't have the right to submit, attempting to reverse-engineer the underlying models, or using the service in a way that could harm patients, users, or MediMind.
No Medical Advice
MediMind extracts and structures information from a prescription image; it does not verify clinical correctness, interact with a patient's full medical history, or replace professional judgment. All clinical decisions remain the responsibility of a licensed healthcare provider.
Data and Privacy
Our handling of prescription images and personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Intellectual Property
MediMind and its underlying technology are the property of MediMind and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to MediMind's trademarks, models, or source code beyond what's needed to use the service as intended.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MediMind is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including errors in extracted prescription data. Always verify extracted data before relying on it for a clinical decision.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to MediMind for violations of these Terms or for conduct that risks harm to patients, users, or the service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as MediMind evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
Governing Law
This section will specify the governing jurisdiction once finalized with legal counsel.
